Thanks to the advance in technologies we no longer need to carry all of our textbooks and notebooks. We can just easily store all of our needed documents on laptops, smartphones, or tablets. With this, there will be less usage of paper and that is good for the environment. If we want to use paper try a different option which is recycled paper. Nowadays there are a lot of recycled papers that are being sold, so we should try and opt into that options.
Bring your tote bag
When buying groceries or going shopping, bring along your canvas tote bag. Instead of carrying plastic that will go into the trash can you can just bring your tote bag and use it to put in all of your stuff. You don’t need to buy an expensive tote bag, just something that you can use every day for daily tasks. Having a tote bag is much more convenient than carrying tons of plastic bags. Plus, it will be good for the environment too.
Cloth over tissue papers
Instead of having to buy a roll of tissue paper every time you are buying groceries, try to use a cloth. You can use a dishcloth or your unused clothes. Not only it will save you tons of money but it will be easier for you to use it. Just throw it in your washer and it’ll be as good as a brand new.
When you are cooking or preparing dinner try to make it according to the number of family members you have in the household. Making too many foods can cause food waste. Food waste can cause overflood in landfills. Not only that, but it will be a huge loss of food and money when you have extra leftovers and you want to throw them away.
We can slowly start to develop or create a hobby that can lead us to be more eco-friendly. After all, we are the people that live on this planet so we should be taking care of it so that not us can enjoy them but the younger generation too.
